IOCOSE ha raccolto documentazioni video presenti in rete delle diverse apparizioni pubbliche di Elon Musk, come CEO di SpaceX. Ha analizzato il suo continuo gesticolare, indicare pianeti e mete invisibili. Il video è accompagnato da un karaoke di alcune frasi sensazionalistiche pronunciate da Musk durante le conferenze stampa di SpaceX.

Pointing at a New Planet (2020) is a 3D animation video loop. The protagonist is a three-dimensional model of entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk’s hand, generated using images and video footage sourced from the web. Musk is one of the main protagonists of NewSpace, a movement born in the Silicon Valley that aims at the colonisation of the planets of our galaxy through private investment. IOCOSE collected online video documentations of diverse public appearances of Elon Musk in the capacity of CEO of SpaceX. They have examined his hand gestures, pointing at planets and invisible destinations. The video is accompanied by a karaoke of some of the sensationalistic statements delivered by Musk during the press conferences held by SpaceX.
